Leena Shah is a seasoned human resources professional who has recently transitioned from Los Angeles to Qatar to join her family. In the past five years, she worked with Panasonic Avionics as the regional HR manager for the Middle East, managing nine countries and, subsequently, was at the firm's USA headquarters where she helped establish the framework for business partnering to ensure that the HR people strategy is aligned to the changing needs of business. Prior to that, she worked in the Middle East in the aviation, banking and shipping industries in a variety of roles in HR with emphasis in the fields of corporate learning, organizational performance and emerging technologies. She is a Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification holder and is skilled in the science of learning solutions—both traditional and technology focused with broad-based experience in managing the complete learning cycle from analysis, design, development and delivery to evaluation. She has helped organizations set up e-Learning as a core method of "in-time-and-any-time" training as well as led the evaluation, selection and implementation of learning management systems. She was well recognized for these set-ups by various prestigious industry awards such as the Brandon Hall Gold Award for Best Practices in eLearning and the Best Launch to Organization award. She is very passionate about learning and implementing innovative techniques to increase people development and employee engagement.
